English project 1KMAB
The students in 1KMAB and their teacher Mari Anne have
made a great exhibition of movie posters in the
library hallway. They have made the posters based on novels they have read in
English class.
The main theme is the USA. The authors of the books
are all American and thus the theme of racism and black and white problems have
a dominant position in the exhibition. Novels such as Black and White, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Secret life of Bees and
The Book of Negroes are represented.
The students have also read novels that describe other
facets of American life and society, for instance friendship, adolescence, and psychiatric
institutions in novels like The Perks of Being
a Wallflower, Of Mice and Men, and
One flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.
Enjoy the exhibition and congratulations to 1 KMAB for
